Our Story
Grid was born out of the need for businesses to transform their core operations, bringing all their data, workflows, teams, and reports, onto a single centralized platform. Our aim was to revolutionize the way asset-heavy industries operate, and this continues to be our mission.
July 2017
Started as a Data Consulting company for SMEs with a focus on Mining and Manufacturing.
2019
Development of the Grid platform begins, after realizing that the most significant impediment to digital transformation was structured data collection and process visibility.
2020
Launched Grid 1.0 and closed a seed round of investment, with a vision to build a mobile-first no-code app for Mining and Manufacturing.
June 2021
Focus on a vertical-specific expansion plan with templatization at the heart of product development.
January 2022
Funding round completed, launched self-sign-up with industry-level templatization.
June 2022
Closed second funding round to scale ops and to implement data management best practices.
